A home evaluation— also known as a CMA or “Comparative Market Analysis” is a report prepared by a Realtor® providing information about your property and how it compares to similar properties in the marketplace. In order to provide you with a more accurate home evaluation, we may need some information about your property. Some of these questions encompass things such as, the square footage of your home, if you’ve done any renovations, is your basement finished, etc. If you plan to make changes before selling or sell it as it is.
We will then research comparable properties. This information is usually available through the MLS® System, however there are also properties that may have been on the market or have sold without being part of the MLS® System. This will give us an idea how much your property is worth on the current market. Please note a home evaluation is not an appraisal.
